Terms and Conditions Statement

1) Services overview

Dotify provides asset identification and protection services, which may include applying unique identifiers to assets and registering those identifiers to ownership or asset information in a secure database for verification and recovery support.

2) Eligibility and authority

You confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  • You are the lawful owner of the asset, or have written authority from the owner to request the Services.

3) Customer responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information (including asset details and ownership details).
  • Ensure the asset is safe and accessible for service delivery.
  • Not request Services for stolen, disputed, or unlawfully obtained assets.

4) Quotes, pricing, and payment

  • Prices may be shown on the Site or shared via quotation or invoice.
  • Payments are due as agreed in the quote or invoice.
  • Where applicable, work may only commence after a deposit or full payment is received.

5) Cancellations and rescheduling

You may request cancellation or rescheduling by contacting us. If resources have already been allocated or technicians dispatched, a reasonable charge may apply, subject to applicable law and any written agreement.

6) No guarantee of theft prevention or recovery

Our Services can help deter theft and support identification, but Dotify does not guarantee that an asset will not be stolen or that a stolen asset will be recovered. Outcomes may depend on third parties and circumstances outside our control.

7) Registration records and updates

If your Service includes registration in a database, you agree to:

  • Allow Dotify to create or update records linked to your asset identifier.
  • Notify Dotify of changes such as sale, transfer, updated contacts, or loss, so records remain accurate.
  • Provide proof of ownership or authority if requested.

8) Acceptable use of the Site

You must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the Site, systems, or databases.
  • Introduce malware, spam, or harmful code.
  • Use the Site for unlawful or misleading purposes.

9) Intellectual property

All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, and designs) is owned by or licensed to Dotify Systems Limited and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy or reuse it without written permission.

10) Third-party services
